Julie Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling. Julie has over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Julie uses a variety of treatment techniques to counsel individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, adjustment issues, blended families, divorce, parent training, adolescent/behavioral issues, posttraumatic stress, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors. She has received specialized training in both play and filial therapy and uses this modality in working with young children and their families. Julie works with a wide range of ages and uses a client-centered approach to counseling. Her goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for her clients to process their life stressors. Julie has lead several suicide prevention psycho-educational groups for middle and high school students. She feels very passionate about reaching out to individuals who are in emotional pain and aiding them in their journey of healing.
